anyone use xtorrent

Hi all.  I've recently started trying to use xtorrent on the mac, but  
I'm having some problems.  I've forwarded the ports, at least the ones  
it mentions in preferences, but I'm still getting really slow speeds.   
Like around 11 to 15 k, and my upload speeds are even slower than that  
if it uploads at all.  The uploading is very sporatic.  I like the  
accessibility of xtorrent.  I know people here have mentioned  
transmission, but it sounds like you can't read the upload and  
download information which I like having access too.  I know this is  
sort of off topic, but can someone give me some pointers on maybe  
something I'm missing with xtorrent or offer another solution.  The  
slow speeds could also be related to the torrent itself, I'm not sure.
