A future version of Louis may permit the user to choose NFBtrans as the forward translation engine as well.

Louis, the Macintosh Braille Translator version 1.1 has been released
This release deals with issues surrounding back translation. It
implements NFBtrans as it's back translation engine. This results in
a much improved back translation of braille files.
