Re: VLC Player and Freedombox Media Content

The Freedombox Talking Browser can be used by Mac users.  You simply  
log into your account, and the Freedombox browser will bring you to  
several choices, including e-mail, enterteinment guide, weather  
information from your local area, etc.  However, if you use the  
Freedombox Media Player, or try to, you will get a message that says:  
"cannot play Media content on this computer.  You must use the  
Freedombox software, to play these files."  Before I was subscribed  
to this list, there was a discussion about it, but I missed out on  
it.  I have written to the Support team at Freedombox, and I'm not  
sure that they've ever heard of VLC.  Richie Gardenhire, Anchorage,
