Getting a iWeb page to conform to basic accessibility standards would
involve throwing out the existing page and creating a new one from
scratch, but I agree you could add in the odd bit of alt text. Headings
might be problematic, since browsers tend to style headings their own
way and I don't know whether iWeb's stylings would happen to override
those or not. It does beg the question of what advantage iWeb offers
though, once you have the skill to add in alt text. Simple authoring
tools should prompt for alt text, not force people to go routing through
the source.

possible with most other authoring tools I'm not sure what that would
