Mac
Hello Chris,
A very good reason for getting a Mac, especially once Leopard is
released, would be that a Mac is much better value than any other make of
computer. After all, it comes with the current Mac OS, and you can put
Windows on it if you like. It's like having all possible kinds of
computer in one. It is also better made than most other computers and
will last much longer. We have a desktop Mac, a Sawtooth G4 for those who
are interested, which is 7 years old and running the latest version of
Tiger.
Of course, this is just my opinion; but it is an informed opinion after
looking at current prices for other PCs.

Hi all, well if the BrailleNote is listed then I may re-consider my
decision on getting a mac thanks to Leopard, smiles. You see, in my
situation, I want to use my BrailleNote as a Braille display, as well as
notetaking, and the only way to do this, at the moment I believe, is
through Windows and a compatible Screen Reader (JAWS in my case), so
it'll be nice if Leopard supports this out of the box. Don't worry, I'm
not going to unsubscribe simply because I'm not interested. I'm really
interested, however due to my current situation I don't really see a
reason for getting a mac right now.

That is pretty much Apple's policy regarding which braille displays
are supported. However, they have reassured me that we will know when
the information is released, just before shipment of Leopard. Richie
