Ah, I do not own a mac; I use a pure Windows machine. So maybe this is why
you're having the problems, because of the type of machine you're using?
Just a thought.

Hi Chris, just curious, you mentioned(windows firewal,) are you using an
Intel Mac, or Power PC. I guess I neglected to mention that I am using a
g4 PPC. I just simply went into networking and turned firewall off. I
was using the free service, so wasn't using a wizzerd or anything like
that. Will check the port information though.
Thank you for the constructive suggestions.
The solution, as usual, is probably simple, but am probably just missing
it.
Have tried a different service, not simmular to those two, but I am not
overly happy with it as a way to send files, thus I wanted to try these
two.

I've used both services with no issues. I use AVG as my antivirus and
Windows Firewall as my firewall. Maybe you need to tell your firewall to
unblock the port(s) that these services use. Hope that helps.

Subject: Sendspace/Yousendit Upload Question.
Hello, I attempted to upload a file to store on yousendit. It told me
that either I had a firewall up or antivirus wasn't allowing the
upload process. Well, I had turned the firewall off.
Has anybody used that particular service with success? If so, any
tips would be appreciated.
Don't be surprised though if my answer back may be slow, have to get
going to work, and they have an inaccessible Windows box there, so
will have to check answers when I get home.
