ok so this is a littleoff topickind of, but if I do whatI want
"Install os 10.4" It will be on topic.
I purchased a g3 mac 500mhz installed 512mb of ram and atempted to
install tiger.
appearently tiger needs the latest firmware and I would gladly
install it but my current os on it 9.2.2 is not usable, no matter
what I do I get "unexpected errors. and the lack of a screen reader
makes it dificult to run this thing.
i.e, netscape quit, when I burned the latest firm ware to a cd and
copied it to the desktop of the mac and tried to open it I got an
error stating "Shrinkrap engin unexpectly quit" and I can not install
this firmware so I may install tiger.
two things, can some one find me a demo of outspoken 9?
or two how can I use this .smi.bin file. can I unzip or what ever on
my macbook and then coppy the needed files to another cd and try this
some other way??
please help.
