Absolutely true.
Yes as I said, I do know someone who is running os Tiger on his PC but he's running into all sorts of problems as you'd expect, the first one being that he cannot use the "Software Update" utility to update, absolutely useless <smile>.

Apple likes the integration of its core hardware and software. I don't expect we'll see a version of OS X that runs on PC's legally any time in the foreseeable future. Many people have attempted to hack, and some have succeeded, OS X to run on PC's, but such hacks are blatently illegal. Apple's having a tremendous amount of success at present and I can't see them rocking the boat that way at the mo'.

Hi!
Has anyone on this list tried running Os Tiger On a standard Intel based PC machine? Apparently it can be done, I know someone who has done it and it got me thinking, what a plus for Apple it would be if they actually released a version of OS Lepard for the PC itself, that way PC users would have a great excuse to ditch Microsoft completely at a very reasonable cost, I was talking to someone at my local Apple Store on Friday and they told me that Lepard should sell for around about $200 (Australian), that's extremely reasonable in my view.
