Most, though not all, applications can be simply sent to the trash by
selecting them in the Applications folder and pressing Command-
Delete. You'll find that programs that need to remove system
components upon uninstallation will typically have an uninstall
program included with them. Both the two you mentioned should be
able to be sent to the trash just fine.
