Well I haven't even purchased my Mac, like I said I will be a first time user. I don't know what the phrase "works so well" means in a virtual environment. Another reason from what I am gathering is that running Boot Camp will allow me to run Windows as if I was on a PC and I will need that for training blind individuals. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Larry Wanger" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "General discussions on all topics relating to the use of Mac OS X by theblind" <[email protected]>

But, why would you even want to mess with Bootcamp given how great Fusion works?

So I would assume that you can have Boot Camp installed as well as Fusion.

Yes, indeed.

What about MS Office for the Mac, is it accessible?

Not yet. But other accessible Mac applications can edit some Office documents. TextEdit and Pages can edit ordinary Word documents.

Other list members will know whether Keynote (for presentations) is accessible or not.

MS Office for the Mac does not include Access.

The main accessibility gap at the moment in terms of Office software is in spreadsheets, since the recently released Numbers seems to work poorly with VoiceOver.
