Josh, I find it strange that lots of folks at ACB are so dead set against Apple, no matter what we say or do, they are turned off by Apple, and yet they haven't come up with a concrete reason, other than the fact many in the organization believe that Apple doesn't listen to our concerns. I have written, privately to Chris, Mitch, and others, and are waiting to hear their response to me. Our state convention is forthcoming in October and one of the things Sandy Sanderson has requested is that I give a brief demonstration with VoiceOver, and I have offered to set aside time for those participants, including our rehab counselors and representatives, to provide a "hands-on" experience with VoiceOver, using my iMac and, if there are enough people interested, I will will bring my Mac Mini and a monitor for persons with some useable vision. Unfortunately I won't have my Mac Book before then, but I didn't think it would arrive by then, anyway. In my letters to Chris, Mitch, and others, I expressed my hope that ACB will not hinder the progress and gains we have made with Apple since 2003, and perhaps even farther back. Richie Gardenhire, Anchorage, Alaska.
