I only wish there was a workaround for this problem. Fast User
Switching has worked perfectly in earlier releases but logging out is
certainly broken now. I tend not to log out, just switch users and
when a Shut Down becomes necessary, I find myself having to use the
Power Key, even though I hate doing it.
