Problems playing audio CDS

Hi folks,

I can put Data CDs/DVDs into my Macbook's C drive and they will mount  
on to the desktop no problem. However, the same is not true for the  
audio cds. The Macbook will sometimes load them, but more often than  
not will simply eject them. Does anyone have any suggestions please?
