Will, not sure, but this is the behavior I've seen even with a
Shuffle. I suspect and may be wrong, but Itunes grabs it and for a
lack of a better description, makes the Finder hide it. I don't know
if this is intentional, but perhaps its to keep you from putting stuff
on there without Itunes knowing it as it would not be updated in the
database. I wonder if you made it part data and the rest music, if it
would show that data part in the Finder. When you close Itunes, does
it reappear? I might have to try this with my Shuffle, but need to
track down another problem with my machine first.
