Hello!

For those of us going back to the days of "outSPOKEN," "Enabling Control Option Lock" is the same command as outSPOKEN's "Review Mode." You use this command only when you want to review (read) a document, email, etc. In other words, you are not going to type or modify anything.

When "Enabling Control Option Lock" the Control and Option keys are automatically "held down" for you... and will continue to be held down until you disable the command.

So, when would you use this command? When you have lots of reading to do (and you just do not want to hold those blasted 2 keys down:-). For example: I receive my MacVisionaries list in the digest format. So I turn on this command when reading the 3000+ lines of the larger digests.
