I'm glad someone bought up the subject of MIDI actually.
I'm looking at getting back into music and looking therefore at
purchasing a MIDI keyboard to interface with the Mac, I believe
that's done through the USB ports of the Mac these days, things have
changed quite a bit when I used to do this sort of thing when you
needed a MIDI adapter for 2 5 pin din sockets etc but that's another
discussion. I'm wondering if anyone has tried using Garage Band? It
looks to be quite accessible with I Life 8 but of course, I cannot
really try it without a keyboard <smile>.
