Navigating the tables, from what I was able to discern in the trial,
was not the problem. Many of the controls and elements within the
window and spreadsheets were not being identified properly or at
all. However, when pulling up various templates, the actual
spreadsheet tables could be navigated reasonably well. A "Go To,"
option is always nice, but I don't really think it is the be-all end-
all of spreadsheet accessibility.

excel has a goto command on the f5 key. That command allows a user
to goto a specific cell or select a range of cells. If numbers had
that one keystroke capability, it probably would be useable. As it
stands, numbers last time another member of smmug checked it out
was missing that feature.

Hi JD,
We reported back on this at www.Lioncourt.com
Basically, Numbers appears to have much of the framework in place
to be accessible, but just isn't quite there yet. We contacted
Apple, and they replied that they were aware of the problems and
were working on it. I think it is only a matter of time before
Numbers is made accessible.

Hi
I've noticed a few people mentioning the lack of an accessible
spreadsheet. The new version of iWorks contains a spreadsheet
application called Numbers. I don't actually have it, however I
thought it might be worth someone reporting back on, its very new
so not sure whether anyone on the list actually may have it as yet.
Cheers, JD
