Yes, Sound Studio is a multi track editor but I cannot tell you how
many tracks it has, that's something I'd have to find out about in the
manual.

Hi Dane,
Yes, SS 3 is the new sound forge for us bind folks it has to be said.
One less thing to boot into windows via VM for.
One quicky though on file associations, how can I give Itunes the mp3
format
back? SS3 has taken it, similar to how Real player and media player
did for
windows. Is there a way of reclaiming it apart from selecting open
with all
the time?
Best

I'm still hunting up allot of information on it regarding commands
etc. This editor is also a multi track editor however I think I'd
stick with Sound Studio for the time being quite frankly, just doing
some stuff with it now.

I've heard about this program, not familiar with it's functionality
though.

Yes, Sound Studio is quite accessible but I've not tried multi track
editing with it though I know the facilities for multi track editing
are certainly available, how you'd synchronise tracks though, that is
the question.
Another alternative I'm playing with right now is Audasity, this is a
free open source editor and its available across platforms including
Mac OS10, Windows, LINUX etc.

Hey guys,
Forgive me if this is the wrong place for it. One of the things I
want to do when I get my mac is to do multi track editing, and lots
of
it!
I need some input on sound studio. I hear this is a completely
accessible multitrack editer, and by multitrack, I guess it's far
superior to sound forge that uses a grand total of 2 tracks.
Any feedback on it, and is there a list that focuses more on digital
editing with a mac?
Thanks,
Jed
