You probably could upgrade, but honestly I don't recommend Vista.
I've been using it for about six months or so now and I hate it.
Stick with XP for a while longer if you don't have a damn good reason
to upgrade to Vista. I'm likely going to be back tracking to XP Pro
some time in the next couple of weeks for most of my work.
