Well, I couldn't wait. (I was getting tired of lugging the Windows PC up and down the stairs to do my braille embossing upstairs and some other stuff at least in the same room as the rest of my family...) And all the mail-in rebates just about cover the upgrade to Leopard. (Now watch. They'll come out with a newer MacBook in November or something. Sigh.)
But my MacBook is on the way, and should arrive from MacMall on Friday. I am a happy camper :) If I do need to do Windows stuff, I'll have to suffer through the 1 GB thing, at least for a little while...can't afford a memory upgrade just yet. But there shouldn't be that much that needs doing with Windows anyway. But still, I got Fusion cheap ($64.98, and thena $20 rebate on top of that). A $75 rebate on the Macboo,k, and a $20 rebate on a Everki (SP?) notebook backpack. Now, does anyone know of a cheap USB modem that's Mac compatible? Maybe I'll just get the Apple one, but I'm almost sure that broadband access will be hard to come by in Ukraine when we go for adoption #2 (and this time, I'm *not* being stuck out without a computer!) It'll be so nice to be using Mac Mail again! -- Buddy Brannan, KB5ELV - Erie, PA Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] or phone 888-75-BUDDY I'm giving you a free mall.
