Hello,
It's a complete new OS going from Tiger Os X 4.10 to Leopard OS X 5.
You probably will not have the kinds of problems you sometimes have
with Windblows.
For example, in the Tiger OS X 4 CD, after you load the CD and Boot
from the CD, after the drive quits spinning, just hit Command F5 and
VoiceOver will come up and you will be able to do everything you need
to do with the upgrade or reinstallation of the system.
I am really looking forward to Leopard. I wish I had it now.
Oh well, guess I'll have to bide my time till it's released.

Is that just the upgrade price or does that include the full OS?
Also if it is a upgrade, do you get those problems like on Windows
when you upgrade your notebook vs..s a full install?

Hi,
You'll probably pay the same price as everyone else. I don't
think Apple sells the full release of the OS at a discount to
anyone.

I noticed that Leopard is the next OS release and the price is
reasonable compared to say a Windows upgrade. Seeing as how I
just brought my Mac will their be a way to get Leopard cheaper or
how does the Mac upgrades work?
