Really? Last time I got a new laptop it came out of the box with PST set and I had to change it to EST. Maybe not all networks support this auto-zone feature. Not sure how they would do it short of some weird mapping of what IP addresses belong to which ISP and what geographic footprint those ISPs cover. Seems like a difficult thing to do and maintain.
