Hi!
Right, the Beta for Audasity 1.33 has some most interesting features, firstly the ability to scan forward or backward in either long or short periods of time by using the left and right and shift left and right arrow keys, audio is heard when you use these keys whilst in play mode. Now the downsides that I've found so far, the software can crash unpredictably. Version 1.33 is not as accessible as was the stable build of 1.26, I hope this will be fixed before too long. Meanwhile the Windows beta version of Audasity 1.33 has made some huge strives forward and I estimate that if Audasity continues at this rate then it will surpass Sound Forge and Gold Wave for the "audio editors choice", its amazing what can be achieved if people put their collective minds and know how together and this brings results particularly in "Open Source" software, Audasity and Max Ripper are 2 examples of this. I urge you to take a look at Audasity, play with the Beta 1.33 and the stable version of 1.26 and see the differences for yourself, let the team let you know what you think of the product thus far.
