I wrote "while still in Windows", in other words, remove the Imic while
in Windows not in the Mac interface. And forget what I said about
ejecting, I just twigged its a microphone not some sort of storage or
computing device. Just unplug it while in Windows, then shutdown Windows
and quit VMWare and try plugging it in again.

Ok, well firstly, its not even showing up under the Mac at all, how
would I eject it anyway, I mean it doesn't show up in the finder like a
drive for instance.

Have you tried ejecting then unplugging the Imic while still in Windows?

Hi Everyone!
Ok, I installed my Fusion Windows XP Virtual machine on Friday and
overall I'm extremely happy with it var one annoying thing which I'd
like a bit of advice on.
I have an Imic connected to a USB port on my Mac and Windows running
under Fusion has no problem whatever in recognising it, the problem
starts when I shut down my Virtual Machine, I cannot get Tiger to
recognise the Imic unless I restart the computer, does anyone have any
suggestions on how I can avoid having to restart the system? I've
tried unpluging the Imic but this makes no difference at all, a plain
restart seems to be the only option at the moment.
