I was originally from the old winamp camp. However, after using the  
library for the past 2 months, I can't go back. Most everything you  
rip or download is tagged correctly. If iTunes can connect to cddb,  
your CD's will import without problems, unless it's a custom disk. A  
year ago, I was annoyed like you all, but now I'm seriously hooked on  
this way of searching out music in my collection. I'm working on  
importing everything in, then I will transfer the whole library to an  
external hd, and tell iTunes to only import to that drive as the main  
library. I'll do a tutorial for you all on how to get around the  
library, so you can get an idea on how incredibly easy it is. Trust  
me. You'll never go back to the finder again.
