Ok, well I may have the url slightly wrong but you can go to
http://www.vmware.com and you should be able to find it from there.
Fusion is not a free programme but in many ways, I've found its already paid for itself. You can set Fusion to install Windows automatically on your system thanks to the Getting Started wizard or create new Virtual Machine wizard, can't remember the exact name.

Hey guys,
Anyone know where to get fusion?
Is it a free program?
Does it allow me to do an install of windows without sighted assistance?

Thanks,
Jed

I'm not sure if it is needed much nowdays because the Mac's already have

a line-in. Does the Imic do more than audio in/out?

Yes that's absolutely correct but what does this have to do with an
Imic?

For those on MacBooks, it looks like the audio input handles both line
level analog or optical digital SPDIF.

"Connect your MacBook Pro to a line-level microphone or optical
digital audio equipment. The Audio In port accommodates both optical
digital audio input and analog audio input.

Analog audio line input is accepted through a 3.5mm mini phone jack
which does not provide power to a connected device, so you must use
self-powered peripherals. The sound input jack accepts line-level
stereo signals up to 24-bit stereo 44.1-192kHz sampling rate. It also
accepts a stereo miniplug-to-RCA cable adapter for connecting stereo
equipment to the computer.

Optical audio input is SPDIF format and uses a standard toslink cable
with a toslink mini-plug adapter, accepting up to 24-bit stereo and
44.1-96kHz sampling rate."

An iMic is a very hand bit of hardware that give you a line in and a

I own an iMic and can tell you that it performs perfectly a real
handy device.

Have you tried ejecting then unplugging the Imic while still in
Windows?

Hi Everyone!
Ok, I installed my Fusion Windows XP Virtual machine on Friday and
overall I'm extremely happy with it var one annoying thing which
I'd like a bit of advice on.
I have an Imic connected to a USB port on my Mac and Windows
running under Fusion has no problem whatever in recognising it,
the problem starts when I shut down my Virtual Machine, I cannot
get Tiger to recognise the Imic unless I restart the computer,
does anyone have any suggestions on how I can avoid having to
restart the system? I've tried unpluging the Imic but this makes
no difference at all, a plain restart seems to be the only option
at the moment.
