It would help you transfer your creation in I Web etc to a remote site,
that's just one of the things it can be used for.

Transmit looks good from their websites description. If I was creating a
web site in IWEB or something else what would Transmit help me do?

blindcooltech is a really good site, I think I've mentioned it to this
list before, all sorts of great stuff up there including a review of
the best FTP client software I've ever used, Transmit and I'm very
sorry that such a good product isn't available for the PC. Yes, you
have to pay $17.00 for it I think the price is but its 99% accessible,
has full resume functionality, will handle all secure protocols
including SSL, TLS automatically and so on.

Hi James, VaShaun, and others,
Justin Harford did a demo of LaTex using VoiceOver and TeXShop
on Blind Cool Tech if you are interested in getting an impression
of how TeX documents and the TeXShop program for the Mac work.
The mp3 file is at:
http://mediacloud.libsyn.com/bct/bct1078IntroductionToLaTeX.mp3
or, you can go to the Blind Cool Tech Podcast page at
http://www.blindcooltech.com/
and look for "Introduction to LaTeX" 6/26/07
Cheers,

That's right the learning curve is steep with TeX, the rewards are
well worth it however.

It is free, but please get in touch if you've not used it before, it

I think I will be getting Latex . Is it totally accessible and how

There is also Latex (pronouned Laytech), which is a type-setin
tool. It is extremely powerful and versitle, but does require
time to learn. Although, the benefits are rewarding, especially
for Blind users in my personal opinion, as I use it exclusively
for my University assignments. I don't want to clutter the list
with discussions about Latex, so please feel free to E Mail me
off list, if you'd like to know more.
