OK I am picturing the Dashboard wrong. I was thinking if I brought up the
Dashboard it would show a list of widgets. This must not be the case. Can
someone re-paint this picture for me and give me some type of direction as
to what's there and how they work?

press voice over keys f2 twice to bring up the widget bar i think it is
or the window at least then choose widget bar
