Hi Shaun and Kevin, No, if there are files downloaded they appear in this list. Shaun, I can interact and get to the download location in the window (I set my default to a Downloads directory instead of using the Desktop), and I can also tab to the clear button once I've broken out of the group interaction level in the list.
It may be that because I only (now) have one downloaded file in the Download window there's one less interaction of left arrow stage. Because I went through initially checking everything, and that meant that I ended up clearing all the listed files from my downloads window. I actually had to go and download an Audible.com file so I could post instructions. You guys are making me work too hard! All I can say is, I hadn't tried to play with this window before, but it definitely all works under VoiceOver and I can get to the clear button, etc. The complication is that when you interact with the listed items you get into the grouping structure. If you interact too many times you start getting details about the file size etc. But if you drill down into out of the grouped listing you can get the information on the individual downloaded files, arrow up and down the different files and find out their names, sizes and whether the download was complete, and generally navigate to 4 items: the files size, file name, file icon, and a link to the open up finder at the download location. I'm taking a break because I don't want to download more files and test this. Just answering the podcast subscription questions is taking lots of time <smile>. You can play around with this because I definitely think this works.
