No, I don't think you can, and this is an issue because libraries (in the
US) have been offering audiobooks that can be borrowed via 
electronic download from OverDrive and NetLibrary, but these 
use MicroSoft's PlaysforSure protected WMA format (and also can
only be played on mp3 players that support PlaysforSure DRM
for downloaded content -- which is a subset of mp3 players that
support other kinds of WMA protection).

However, you may be able to play this under Windows installed under
a virtual machine, as under Fusion or Paralllels, or if you use Bootcamp.
Try using Windows Media Player. OverDrive has their own player which
uses Windows Media Player for DRM.  And it's used by some 
libraries in Australia, maybe even the UK?

The other issue may be the legal one -- the many times changed
VISTA EULA seemed to imply it might be illegal to do this, if you
gave it a careful reading.
