To those of you who are US citizens living in the US and members of the
NLS local library and have an Victor Reader Stream: The NLS is starting
up a beta test of the digital book download service. You can get the
info from the NLS web site. I have joined and we Mac users have no
problem using Safari, and VoiceOver to down load NLS books and load them
into the Victor Reader Stream and read the books. IF approved for the test
program, Humanware will provide you the NLS key to allow you to read the
books. The Victor Reader Stream does an excellent job of decoding and
reading the NLS books.
