This sort of answers my question; I concluded that, I would probably end up having to map the keyboard once Leopard is installed. I have no problem mapping this keyboard; I bought it because since I was diagnosed with hyper tension a couple years ago, my doctor suggested that I get an ergonomic keyboard to keep the circulation in my hands and if I can keep them from cramping, all well and good. It didn't cost me much money, but it has an excellent feel to it, with a very fast action. It would just be a matter of getting the specifications such as whether or not it's a 101 or 102 keyboard. Hi Richie,

my iMac g5 has a wirelesss set up for keyburd and
mouse. the last install i had to do on my iMac G5 i
couldn use the wireless setup and used a Dell pc

This is probably a premature question, but I'm
currently using an
ergonomic, Windows keyboard, and I want to use it
while installing
Leopard. Will it recognize the keyboard during
installation, or will I
have to map the keyboard after the installation is
complete. At the
time I began using this keyboard, BoiceOver was
already installed, and
I followed the prompts for getting it to work. All
is fine, except for
the up/down volume controls which, for right now,
aren't of any
importance to me. Richie Gardenhire, Anchorage,
