Ok, so you put disc 1 in your CD player, press restart and holed down
the C key as it restarts. When you stop hearing the CD spin then turn
on Voice Over. You will be prompterd for language selection and if
you want upgrade or custom install. Choose custom and follow the
prompts and uncheck any unwanted programs or languages and check the
ones you need or want. It takes about 45 minutes and wa la you are
restored. When OXX breboots it will ask you ffor disc w2 to get the
program files from it. You will hear your Voice Over voice return and
their you go. HTH

Hi Shaun, what is a soft install, and how do you do it? Could you
please send me instructions?
Thanks James

Thanks Richie,
I got it fixed by doing a soft install. It bbrought my ssystem
back to where it was before installing the programs like Onyzx
and Multilingual. By the wwahy write me off list from the mail
address you apended in your message you sent earlier. I am
aafraid to ask how to do that for fear of being stupid again.

Shaun, The only other recourse I can think of is to reinstall
the operating system from scratch, which you can do with your
Tiger CD. Don't worry about doing the updates; the machine
will do them for you, if it sees that there are updates
available, even if the updates have been issued way back when.
