Forwarding and rewinding in I TunesFast

Listers I am listening to the VO tutorials in I Tunes and I noticed  
that you can't fast forward in the middle of playing a file in D. I  
want to be able to move 10 seconds and it doesn't seem to have this  
feature. Am I wrong or is this in fact the case?
