H guys,
Someone on one of these lists asked about accessing the category
lists on your blog using Mars Edit, and how that didn't appear to be
accessible.
Well--it is, assuming, of course, I understand what's wanted. Here's
how it appears to work:
Once you've written your blog post, in order to pick a category, you
have to click the options button. Once that's done, all manner of
possibilities open up to you.
You can, for instance, type in a category name and click he "Add
category" button. Or, you can interact with the category table and
check off the ones you already have and want to put your posts in.
Note I've only done this with a Wordpress blog.
Mars Edit looks to be a real nice piece of software. Apart from its
Livejournal support being a bit minimal (i.e. I haven't seen how to
put in subjects, limit postings to friends-only viewing, post a mood,
etc.), it looks really good. And very accessible. Yes, I'll add it to
your database, Greg. Once I get home. Or something.
