It isn't out of the question. You just have to use a server with an msn getway. That means first you'll need a jabber account which you apply for on the jabber.org.au web page and then after you have that account you find a jabber server that supports an msn gateway and apply for access to the gateway. If you write to support on the jabber.org.au site they should be able to help get you set up. Good luck. For me I'll just wait for a better way to access MSN.

So i take it that msn messneger is out of the question?

You're getting the wrong information. First of all the web site looks like it hasn't been updated to reflect the fact that the MSN and AOL gateways are no longer available there, so there is only one form to fill out and there is no second form to fill out. I filled out the first form, logged in to the Jabber server with Ichat and I can talk to people using Jabber. Trouble is I don't know anyboddy using it.

Hey guys,
Have any of you had this problem with i chat, not being able to get it running?
I can't seem to find this register link for jabber.
Tere is no authentication thing to click on. It keeps telling me that since i am registered for the forums, it should work.
Any thoughts?
I'm confused, and i really need to set this thing up by the weekend.
Any thoughts?

Thanks,
