Hi. When you say you want to record voiceover and Skype, do you mean
that you want to record voiceover and skype simultaneously, or do you
mean that sometimes you'll want to record skype conversations and
sometimes you'll want to record voiceover? If the former, I'm not
sure it's possible to record both VoiceOver and skype at the same
time. It may be possible with the various effects plugins, but as of
now we can't use those effectively.
If the latter, it's very easy to record skype conversations. Assuming
you had skype installed prior to using audio hijack pro for the first
time, you should see a skype session. For the most part, this should
be set up how you want, though you may want to change the type of file
that gets recorded.
As for recording VoiceOver, this is possible, but kind of difficult to
explain. The first thing to do is make sure sound flower is
installed. Next, create a session to hijack system input. Then,
create another session to hijack the mic, and have it's output go to
sound flower. Hijack both of these, then hit the record button on the
system audio session.
There's probably a more straight forward way of doing it with the
afore mentioned effects plugins, but as I said we don't have access to
those with voiceover.
Finally, I want to urge you that if you haven't read the audio hijack
pro manual, you really should. You can find it under the help menu.
It's divided in to sections. You get tutorials on how to perform
specific tasks, and there is a reference section that explains how
each aspect of the program works.
