I have been asked to supply a Mac to a partially sighted client. From
what I have gathered, his impairment requires him to view any normal

he is legally blind under UK rules, should that be relevant,

this is apparently a pretty broad classification.
This will be a 24" iMac. Are there any recommendations of other
applications beyond VoiceOver and Zoom that I should consider for
him?
You might like to look at VisioVoice. It provides a very easy-to-use
reader and I gather it offers better contrast on the screen, although
I can't confirm this as I'm totally blind. The voices that come with
it are excellent and even have a British accent! It's even on special
offer at the moment at €99. If you want to see it in use, go to:
www.assistiveware.com
where you will find short videos and lots more information.
