ok here is what you do to select a network to connect to. open your
system preferences, find the network preferences button and click on
it to open it up. Click on the connect button. you want to select the
pull down menu at the bottom network connection which will show up
all the local wirless networks in your area. so select the name of
your network connection.

so i live right behind WOU, the local college i attend. I whent to
the coffee shop on campus, and got on there wireless network. Well,
i'm trying to get on the wireless network for our house:
"monmouthapt4"
but for some reason it is connecting to
"wouwireless"
and i dont know how to fix this. I'm having to stand at a counter
with my macbook attached to our qwest modem, could someone write me
and tell me how i can either remove the wouwireless network, or how
i can force it to connect to monmouthapt4?
