One way is to use the terminal and run the command-line FTP program. If you did it that way, you would at the shell prompt type ftp myhost.com and press return. Let me know if you want more information about that.

hi there;
a curious question i have that i do, um, how might i access an ftp
server with the mac? See, i am required to edit and update php files
on my blog (because i like to be unique and wordpress's theams just
are not enough for me, check out the top of my blog for an example),
and also i have some audio files that are rather inportent to me and
shahailie in a zip file that i must re download so i might be able to
add them to itunes and we both then again can access them threw the
shaired feature on itunes (a grait thing it is to be able to use
itunes it is), but anyways, the point is, how can someone use an ftp
server? And is there any way one might be able to add an ftp location
to the desktop or finder or something? Example, gwfans.net ftp server
on the finder i could access to download/upload files often to?
thanks for all your help!

thanks
