Who do you work for, if I can ask. Yeah I feel you on the flip
thing. I am starting to like the Trio and Blackberry phones myself.
I will let you know if and when it transpireds in March of next year.

Well that would be mighty nice and might get me to switch back to
VZ. Obviously this is way off topic for the list, but if anything
comes of it, do let me know.
Not to mention my employer uses VZW and I'd love for them to get me
an accessible cell phone and please, not a flip either. I really
have gotten to like those candybar-style phones.

Absolutly, but I cant speak on it. What if you can get the latest
and greatest with accessibility built in and you pay the same
price as everyone else?

Gee, does this mean that perhaps VZ will consider doing more with
respect to offering some solutions to accessible cell phones.
AT&T certainly has done more than any carrier in this area.

Friends,
Verizon Wireless has launched a national campaign for the hiring
and
training
of blind customer service representatives. This opportunity has
come about through networking and dialoging for three years.
Please tell a friend or pass this message along to any list. I
am welcoming questions personally off list for any one that is
interested. I have the list of states if needed. Here is a small
list of things that I can say about the position:
The software is scripted for JAWS and is 100%accessible
Health benefits start on your first day
Two week advance training is provided prior to your normal
Verizon training (6-7 weeks)
Courses are held to allow you to move up in the company (once
you pass the test for the position, you will be in a pool for
advancement)
Other than providing you with the states I don't have any other
information asides from the URL for applying. The state listings
that I can provide you will have the call centers contact
information. The URL is http://www.callcenterjobs.com/ The
actual application for employment is accessible, but the website
currently has a bunch of graphics but still workable.
