clearing out old podcasts in itunes

i have lots of these and my harddrive space is getting low. how do i  
expand the folder of the podcast i want to delete? also when i want  
to delete them, can i just simply hit command a to select al of them  
then hit delete? i can't remember the command to open these. i know  
the same one works for radio stations. i aslo assume this same  
command will close folders?
