I know this is not exactly blind-related, but I thought that perhaps some of you might want to read an article on the Apple website, which talks about school boards across Alaska and representatives from Apple are doing to help students K-12, to help bring remote villages into the digital age. The article is entitled, "Apple Goes North to Alaska." It is a short article, but quite informative. It is my hope that blind and visually-impaired students aren't left behind, as is often the case here in Alaska, and that teachers will embrace the accessibility that is built into OS10.4 and OS10.5, to help them to assist those students.
