I did it like you said and it worked on both fronts. The file saved
to the folder that I set up automatically after closing the
attachment. It is not as automated as I wanted but I guess it will
have to work. Again thanks!

message content, click the toggle attachments button, interact with
the body of the message, find the name of the attachment with vo

opened in Mail. You can also change the default folder in which I
changed it to a folder in my documents. Change the delete unedited
attachments to never. Now if I can just find out how to open a
