Hi,

There are two parts to this, first, setup sharing in system prefs, then, setup firewall in security. There are three radio buttons here, one is allow, next is block all and the last is specific connections to allow. There seems to be know way to restrict outbound traffic.

Hi folks,

Does anyone know how to switch on the Firewall in Mac OS X? I found it, it has been moved to "Security", which i guess makes more sense, but there is no option to turn it on like in Tiger. Are we to assume that it is on? But in Tiger, mine was switched off by default.

Thanks

James
