instant messenger client

Hi all.  Anyone found a good instant  messenger client.  Fire doesn't  
work under leopard now and the new version of adium is worse  
accesssibilitywise than the older version.  Anyone tried anything?  I  
can't really use ichat because most of my messenger accounts are not  
supported.
