I got the package to install successfully and did the command to start it 
successfully from the terminal command line.  Then I try to run mysql and 
get told there's an error 2002 and mysql cannot connect to 
/tmp/mysql.sock.  Well, it almost worked.  I learned that attaching " | 
say" to the ends of only some terminal commands works.  sudo isn't one of 
them either.
