Hi,
The system will play some music. Then after the music stops, you will hear a message about VoiceOver. You will be given the choice to learn more about VO by hitting the Escape Key. You will also be given the choice to hit Command F5 if you are already familiar with VoiceOver to go directly into the Setup Assistant.
HTH.

John,
Assuming this is a new Mac Book, after you turn it on, some music will play for a while and then the Mac will start talking.

I am fixing to get a Macbook. Will I have to wait for the computer to
start, turn up the volume, and then turn on VO? Or does the Setup
Assistant speak when I turn it on for the first time? Thanks for the
help.
