I use SA Mobile, and you have to interact with the Scroll Area, by 
hitting Vo=shift=down arrow.  As in Tiger, snnding this command brings 
you to a table; sending it again will bring you to the message titles 
and senders, and are in the order of oldest message first, depending on 
how you have SA Mobile Mail set up.  You can read your messages either 
in order or at random; in other words, you can start from the middle of 
your messages and/or work your work yhour way backward or forward.  If 
you'd like, write me privately and I will try to explain in more
