Mucking in the Terminal

Anyone know of any mu* clients that will work oin the Mac's terminal?   
If so, what are they, where do I get them, and what other programs, if  
any need to be installed and where do I get *those*?

PS Anyone else having trouble with SoundRTS running on Leopard?  Is  
there a fix for it?
